Established in Australia in 2000, DLUX began with a love of beautiful textiles and scarves with personality. The brand grew from an appreciation of distinctive design and skilled textile partners. In time, thoughtful gifts for little ones became part of the collection.
Since 2024, owner and designer Alekya (Alex) has brought her own creative perspective to DLUX. With training in textile design and experience running a fashion boutique, she draws inspiration from nature, colour, everyday life and the possibilities of fabric. She works with specialist textile partners to translate selected ideas into considered pieces.
Across scarves and Baby, we look for pieces with character - beautiful to wear, thoughtful to give and chosen for how they look and feel. Wool, silk, cotton, linen and cashmere sit alongside selected blends, including modal and cupro, where their different textures and drape suit the design.
To us, a scarf is more than a finishing touch. It can bring individuality to an outfit through an expressive print, a beautiful texture or the way the fabric moves when worn.
That begins with the textile itself. From fluid silk and airy linen to warm merino and carefully selected blends, different materials offer different possibilities. Working with specialist makers, Alex explores colour, texture and construction in selected designs, seeking a balance between creative character and everyday wearability.

Nature offers endless creative inspiration. The colours of a peacock, the movement of a hummingbird and the markings of a snow leopard become starting points for distinctive DLUX prints — some expressive, others more understated.
Designed in Australia, our scarves are created for individual style rather than a single look or season. The intention is simple: pieces with character that feel personal to the people who wear them.
Over the years, DLUX has supplied independent boutiques, specialist wool retailers and museum and gallery stores. That connection to different spaces reflects our appreciation of textiles as both design and something to enjoy wearing.

As a mother, Alex draws inspiration from the imagination and curiosity of children. Characters such as Sabu, a hand-crocheted snow-leopard rattle, reflect that playful spirit — thoughtful little gifts with personality.
